All bookings automatically agree to the below Terms and Conditions unless discussed otherwise.
- I/We authorize and grant Thaiz Helena Photography to take my photos regarding my experiences with them.
- I/We agree if decide/require to cancel your session all deposits paid will be forfeited.
- I/We grant Thaiz Helena Photography to use my photos on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
- I/We allow and agree that Thaiz Helena Photography will edit, alter, copy, the photos taken of me to their own style and choice.
- I/We agree that the photos and copyright belong to Thaiz Helena Photography and no raw images will be given out.
- I/We understand that I will not receive any monetary compensation.
- I/We agree that the images are only to be for personal use unless previously agreed on by Thaiz Helena Photography.
- I/We agree if I am to get any images printed by any other printer company not recommended by us that I/We (you) are fully responsible for how these image(s) print and the quality.
- I/We give permission for Thaiz Helena Photography to take photos of my children and that if under the age of 18 I am signing the consent for all the above on behalf of them.

Where are you located?
I am based in Currimundi - Caloundra, QLD.
What is the typical turnaround time for delivering photos to a client after a photoshoot?
Photo editing turnaround time varies based on the type of photography. Wedding photos may take longer than portraits. I aim to deliver your gallery as soon as possible, but please allow 30 days after you select your preferred shots for perfection. Quality and your satisfaction are my top priorities!
Do you charge travel fee?
A travel fee is applicable for locations beyond 15km from Currimundi. Costs vary based on the distance, location, and time of travel. This is always discussed and agreed, between you and me beforehand.
What about the location of my session?!
We can plan the session together! I am happy to recommend some locations, but the most important thing is for you and your family to feel comfortable. Whether it's at your home, the beach, or a local park you enjoy, we can make it happen.
In addition, depending on the package you choose, I am open to travelling and shooting in two different locations as long as the package time and travel distance between the two places allow it.
Is there a deposit to be made before session?
The date and time of the shooting is specially reserved for you. So, a $100 deposit fee is required upon booking. It will be deducted from your package fee. The deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation or change of mind.
Can I reschedule my shooting date?
Weather is something we can't predict, I totally understand. If on the shooting day the weather is not favourable, we can discuss postponing the session for another time that suits both of us.
Please, have in mind that cloudy days are still suitable for shooting - even better in most cases due to the soft light it creates, and I personally love it! If you would like to reschedule the session for any other reason, please let us know as soon as possible and we can talk about it.
At what time of the day are sessions held?
Sunset sessions are held at golden hour - usually 1 hr before sunset - and Sunrise sessions are held 45 minutes before the sun is set to rise. These times change throughout the year and once your session is booked and location is chosen, I can advise the best time to start out the session for the best outcome.
What should I wear on the shooting day?
Remember the session is a memory you will keep for your entire life.
There are no rules, but I always recommend neutral & earthy colours for the shooting. This way is easier to coordinate the tons between all of you and the result will be much softer and gentle to the eyes.
I wouldn't suggest bright and vibrant colours, with many patterns, visible logos and stripes on it. But please, feel free to wear what suits your style and would make you feel comfortable to enjoy the day.
For pregnancy sessions, I do offer free access to the client's wardrobe with many options for you to choose from. For your comfort, I do recommend you come and try them out before the shooting day so we can decide and organise it before hand.
What I suggest if you prefer to bring the looks are maxi dresses and dresses or tops that tie at the waist - these will show up better your gorgeous baby bump - cropped and bikini tops are also a great choice. On the bottom you can decide between skirts and loose pants that matches tops and simply bikinis again with kimonos on top.
In case of "at home shooting", you can wear underwear with kimono or white shirt. I always suggest to bring 3 or 4 options to vary the result. Once we book your session, I can send some references and help you with that decision.
Where is the newborn session done?
The newborn shooting depends on the style you would like to have your photos taken. You have 2 options:
A) IN STUDIO
You have the option to do it at my home studio located in Meridan Plains, so you don't have to worry about organising your place to do the shooting.
This option includes scenarios & props. We will also take many photos with you and your partner, so you end up having 2 styles in the same shooting - Lifestyle & Posing.
B) IN HOME or LOCATION
The session can also be arranged at the comfort of your place, where you and your baby will be more relaxed, or any other location you have in mind - a park or beach, for example.
I’ll bring a few wraps and looks to combine with your baby’s personal things.
PS: Please note there's an extra charge of $100,00 for full scenarios + props for IN HOME sessions.
Do you offer newborn props and wraps ?
Yes, I do offer some wraps and clothes for newborns with no extra cost.
These are mostly used when sessions are done IN STUDIO, but I am happy to bring few clothes and wraps if the session is done at the comfort of your place.
PS: Please note there's an extra charge of $100,00 for full scenarios + props for IN HOME sessions.
When the package needs to be paid off?
The full package fee needs to be paid in full on the day of the event / shooting.
If you have any concerns or enquiries about payment options, please reach me out and I am more than happy to discuss some options for you!
How much does it cost if I ever want more time for shooting?
Every extra hour of shooting costs $50,00. But it can be discussed on the day, depending on my availability.
How is the photography process after the shooting day?
Approximately 3 days after the shooting a collection with all the photos we took will be available for you to choose from.
You will then simply "like" the photos you most loved and I will be working on them.
Up to 2 weeks later, the collection with the final photos will be delivered via a link by email. Then, you will be able to download all the photos on your computer and / or phone - in high-resolution format.
I also offer some extra photos - besides the package you have chosen - to be bought for $10 each, if you wish so. Again, you simple "like" the ones you would like to buy and I will be sending them over after removing the water mark and receiving the total amount due from you.
The original raw files will not be given under any circumstances.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No, you don't.
But I do have this service available for your comfort and to ensure the quality of the prints. Be aware that if you are getting any images printed by any other printer company not recommended by us that you are fully responsible for how these image(s) are printed and the quality delivered.
I also offer a printed photo album in some packages options, which I personally love and recommend!
I am sure the little ones will be thrilled to see those images when they are older. Remember, the shooting is a present for them as well!
